Delta Sunset is an original oil painting that measures 16” x 20” on canvas. Delta Sunset was inspired by my fascination with the ever changing beauty of the evening sky. My favorite colors are those that show in the red tones vibrate, rich and juicy. This painting is from my imagination or maybe it is from a place that I have been to in real life and the image has been tucked away in the depth of my subconscious mind. It flowed from my hand to the canvas with ease and grace in quick and fluid motion. This painting evokes the memory of fun with friends, fishing until dark and back yard grilling all inter mixed upon my palette.
